XENICAL contains the active ingredient orlistat. XENICAL is used to assist with losing weight, maintaining a certain weight and preventing weight regain. XENICAL belongs to a group of medicines called lipase inhibitors. These medicines work by preventing the absorption of dietary fat in your body rather than by suppressing your appetite.
XENICAL is a weight control medication for the management of significant obesity. XENICAL targets the absorption of fat in your body rather than suppressing your appetite. Dietary fats are large molecules which need to be broken down by enzymes called lipases before they can be absorbed into the body. When taken with a meal, XENICAL interferes with the activity of these enzymes. This allows about 30% of the fat eaten in the meal to pass through the gut undigested. Your body therefore cannot convert these excess calories to fatty tissue or use them as a source of energy. This will therefore help you to reduce your weight, maintain your lower weight and minimise any weight regain. XENICAL is a prescription weight-control medication useful for the long-term treatment of significant obesity. XENICAL can also help to improve risk factors, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol and high blood sugar which, if not treated, could lead to other diseases such as hypertension and diabetes.

The FDA has approved the first generic version of Roche’s weight loss drug Xenical, called Orlistat.
The drug is sold under the brand names Alli and Liraglutide and has been shown to reduce the size of the fat cells that cause obesity. Alli and Liraglide were developed to treat a group of people with type 2 diabetes.
Orlistat blocks the action of an enzyme called lipases. Lipases are lipoproteins that are produced by the liver and in the gut. Lipases are enzymes that help enzymes to digest food and absorb nutrients. When there are no other nutrients to digest, the lipoproteins digest the energy they need. Lipases help the lipoproteins to break down fats and absorb them back into the bloodstream. Orlistat blocks the activity of an enzyme called lipases and the lipoproteins then break it down. Lipases help the lipoproteins to break down the fats and absorb the fats back into the bloodstream. In this way, Orlistat helps to prevent the formation of the unabsorbed fat in the bloodstream.
Alli and Liraglide were developed to treat people with type 2 diabetes who do not lose weight. The first prescription version of Orlistat was approved in the UK in November 2001. In October 2002, Roche introduced the generic version, Alli, which has been available in the U. S. since 2018.
The drug is soldviapharmacyor.Orlistat, also sold under the brand name Alli, is not intended for use by anyone over 18 years of age. It is not intended to be used by anyone with a BMI of 30 or more.
In addition, Orlistat can increase your risk of blood clots, stroke, heart attack, blood clots and some types of breast cancer. The side effects that Orlistat can cause are abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, feeling sick, fatigue, headache, blurred vision, and changes in your bowel habits. If you experience any of these symptoms while taking Orlistat, stop taking the medication and contact your doctor right away.
If you are taking a medicine called metformin, you must tell your doctor if you are taking metformin or if you have any other allergies. Orlistat is not recommended for use in children under 18 years of age because they may be more sensitive to the effects of the medicine and it may increase their risk of developing diabetes.

PCTIngredients
The active ingredient in Xenical is diclofenac. It belongs to a group of medications called anti-gas medications. It works by blocking the absorption of fat from the body. Xenical contains the active ingredient diclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), which is used to relieve pain and inflammation in the body. This helps to reduce pain, swelling, and fever. Xenical works by blocking the action of a substance called (DHEA) in the body, which causes its production to increase. This increases the amount of diclofenac in the body and helps relieve pain and swelling. DHEA is typically applied twice a day for maximum symptom relief. However, you can also apply diclofenac twice daily to lessen the overall effects of the medication. Its non-absorbing nature allows it to be absorbed into the bloodstream more efficiently.
